3-YEAR ACCREDITATION AWARD

CARF awarded Bethesda a 3-year accreditation through to 2018 for residential and day supports services that are contracted with Community Living BC. We are pleased to receive this  2015 Survey Report   which highlights our strengths as well as  recommendations/suggestions to help us improve our services.

Becoming accredited indicates that we are meeting the standards for providing quality care. Our goal is to achieve a three year accreditation award, the highest possible result from such a survey which occurs every three years.

Accreditation is a “seal of approval “ that involves conformance to specific standards of quality in the provision of programs and service for persons receiving services and for their families.

The mission of CARF is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. The purpose of CARF is to “raise the bar” of service quality and to ensure maintenance of up-to-date standards. CARF is a private, non-profit international accreditation commission est, 1966, Tucson, Arizona, governed by a Board of Trustees.
